Outtakes - Another Kind of ACR Accident...

Well, I said I'd re-make my hood gradually... and promptly abandoned all else Simmish to work on it exclusively for two weeks!  The good news is, probably two thirds of my sims are there, and it looks like Richmond now... time to start playing in the new hood... and to get back to my blog.

I do have an update almost completed... probably post it tomorrow or the next day.  In the meantime, this slightly bizarre situation developed while I was taking the pictures for it... proof that birth control failure isn't the only kind of ACR-related 'accident'...

...So Kyle and Willow had just come back from Twikki Island... and Willow put dinner in the oven.  Then ACR kicked in, she and Kyle disappeared upstairs, and all thoughts of food were forgotten.

Hey, guys, I'm glad you two are getting on so well now, and all, but...

I tried to get either Lily or Vince to rescue the dinner, only to find that they were also in their bedroom, doing the same thing!

Fortunately, we have smoke alarms.

Thanks to queued actions, Vince ran out and started panicking at the fire, after the fireman had done his work.

Vince: Oh my God!  Its a fire! Oh my God! Oh my... Oh.  Right.  Sorry.
Fireman: ... not even going to go there...

Also thanks to queued actions, with all bedroom matters properly attended to, Willow remembered the pork chops.

Don't know why you look so disappointed... you should just be grateful it wasn't the whole kitchen!

Whatever... she decides to serve...

I don't think Kyle's going to actually notice the food anyway! :)

  1. LOL, it doesn't look like it, does it?

I'm glad your hood rebuilding is going so well and that Richmond is looking like it should now. Not much more to do, I guess!

  2. ROFL You gotta love it when they frek out after the fire has been put out. Silly ACR!

  3. Carla, the hood doesn't need much more work but the sims do... I decided to only recreate everyone with as much as I can do in CAS, then do the other stuff I have to use hacks for (skills, ltw, relationships, etc) as I play each household or as it becomes relevant (eg I give employees back their badges as I play their place of employment)... mix some of the tedious work in with the gameplay :)

Riverdale, yeah, I've found that delays in queued actions can really create some strange situations!

  4. I'm sorry for the late responses, I really haven't had much time to play, blog, read, or comment anything.

I'm glad your hood is comming together!
And lol at sims and not realizing what's going on untill it already happened!
